Our pediatric surgery department is the medical center for pediatric surgery in the northeastern region of Sichuan Province. It boasts 51 modern hospital beds and an independent pediatric surgical intensive care unit, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Currently, our department has 4 doctors with doctoral degrees, 10 with master's degrees, and 7 with senior professional titles. We are affiliated with the Pediatric Surgery Vice-chair Unit of the Sichuan Medical Association and the Sichuan Physician Association, as well as the Chair Unit of the Pediatric Surgery Youth Committee of the Sichuan Medical Association. We are also recognized as a national committee member of the China Women and Children's Association, the China Anti-Cancer Association, and the China Research Hospital Society. Moreover, we are a nominated specialty member in the Fudan Ranking.
As the medical quality control center for pediatric surgery in Nanchong City, we have formed a specialized academic alliance with the Pediatric Surgery Departments of Chongqing Medical University and West China Medical University. Our department covers nine sub-specialties, including pediatric gastroenterology, hepatobiliary surgery, urology, orthopedics, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, neonatology, oncology, and the surgical intensive care unit. Minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques are our distinctive features, encompassing all sub-specialties and ranking at the forefront nationwide.
Pioneering in the northeastern region of Sichuan, our department has an independent pediatric surgical intensive care unit (PICU). With a professional medical team and advanced medical equipment, we provide life-saving care for various pediatric emergencies, as well as post-operative recovery for pediatric surgical patients.
